Students Lead the Charge: Teens Take Over Digital Inclusion Week

What: Connected Nation is celebrating Digital Inclusion Week 2025 with a series of workshops highlighting the importance of internet safety and digital skills across generations. Led by students and Connected Nation staff, these hands-on sessions will provide participants with practical tools for safer online practices, building digital confidence, and navigating everyday technology. With this joint effort, the goal is to train 3,000 people in one week, showcasing the power of youth leadership and community collaboration in advancing digital inclusion. The workshops will be held in collaboration with local community partners.

Who: Connected Nation, community partners, and their related programs: Teens Teach Tech powered by AT&T, Digital Skills Training, and Digital Works.

When: Monday, October 6 – Friday, October 11, 2025.

Where: Locations across the U.S., including Illinois, Arkansas, Hawaii, Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.

Why: At Connected Nation, our mission is to ensure that everyone, no matter who they are, where they live, or how they begin, has the opportunity to use technology to improve their lives. Digital Inclusion Week provides a powerful platform to put that mission into action. Strengthening digital skills directly impacts people’s ability to find and keep good jobs, use telehealth tools to manage their health, support children’s education in digital classrooms, and stay engaged in their communities.

That’s why we’re excited to support and take part in this important week with events in Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Join us in raising awareness by sharing planned events, or participating in a digital skills class. To learn more about our programs go to https://connectednation.org/services/digital-inclusion.
